The Seagull

Russia. End of the 19th century. Irina Arkadina, a tanned and presumed star of the Moscow theater, is spending the summer in an idyllic dream property in front of a peaceful lake, a farm belonging to her sick brother. There, Irina will enjoy a season in the company of her lover, the novelist Boris Trogin, her son and next to the young actress Nina Zarechnaya. But what begins as a peaceful vacation ends up turning to the unexpected when suffering all of them a fatal infatuation of the inadequate person. Four-time Oscar-nominee Annette Bening ('American Beauty') stars in this film accompanied by Academy Award-nominee Saoirse Ronan ('Lady Bird') and Golden Globe winner Elisabeth Moss ('The Handmaid's Tale').
