The Siamese Bond

Estela and her mother Clota embark on a journey from Junín, the Argentine city in which they live, to the town of Costa Bonita, in Necochea, to see the apartments that Estela?s father left him as his inheritance. This situation will make Estela nervous, since her mother has a very difficult personality to carry: she complains, she gets scared by anything, insults giving where it hurts and spends time remembering the past. The only moments in which you can relax both the protagonist and the movie itself happen when this one finds a little time to chat quietly with one of the drivers, Primo. An emotional journey, which reveals in its folds the horror that comes from the universe first: the family.

The main cast includes actors Rita Cortese, Valeria Lois, Sergio Prina, Sebastian Arzeno and Edgardo Castro. For his part, Paula Hernández directs. Together with her Leonel D'Agostino signs the script, based on the homonymous story by the author Guillermo Saccomano.

The project was presented at various festivals around the world, such as Miami, Lima, Vancouver, São Paulo and Seminci in Valladolid. In addition, Valeria Lois was nominated for Best Actress at the 2021 Ibero-American Platinum Awards. 'Las Siamesas' has also been proposed as Best Ibero-American Film for the 2022 Goya Awards.
