The Worst Person in the World

Julia (Renate Reinsve) is a young Norwegian woman living in Oslo who is going through a very turbulent period, which unfolds over the course of four years. All these emotional ups and downs will affect deeply in her love life, where she will be torn between two men and she will be risking her relationship, and her quest to succeed in her professional career. Although this experience will help her to have a more realistic version of who she really is.

This combination of drama and comedy, directed by Joachim Trier ('Thelma', 'Love is stronger than bombs', 'Reprise'), has received two Oscar nominations for Best International Film and Best Screenplay. In addition to Reinsve ('Welcome to Norway'), nominated in many competitions and winner of the Best Actress award at the Cannes Film Festival for this role, the cast includes Anders Danielsen Lie ('Bergman Island') as Ansel, Maria Grazia di Meo (?Quick?) as Sunniva, Herbert Nordum ('Young and Promising') as Eivind and Hans Olav Brenner ('Occupied') as Ole Magnus. Reinsve, Danielsen and Brenner have previously worked together on the 2011 production of 'Oslo, 31 August'. It is produced by Oslo Pictures, MK2 Productions, Memento Distribución and Arte France Cinema and distributed in Spain by Elástica Films.
