Plot

In Tokyo, the shy student Kaneki Ken is attacked by a Ghoul, a monstrous creature that feeds on human flesh, but survives the incident thanks to a transplant. However, the price that he has had to pay to be able to stay alive has been very high, since the operation has meant that he became half human half Ghoul. From now on, Ken will have to adapt to his new way of life and try to confront the terrifying species that threatens the streets of Tokyo. The protagonist will make friends with a group of peaceful Ghouls and try to live his new life with them; however, they will be persecuted by two relentless police of the Ghoul Division in charge of eradicating the demons of their district.
