Un lugar común

The film 'Un lugar común', Celia Giraldo's cinematic debut, hits the big screen on May 10 under the distribution of Alfa Pictures, after being presented at the D'A Festival in Barcelona.

The plot follows the story of Pilar, a woman who lives in a daily routine that she has never questioned, which only consists of work, family and home. However, from one day to the next, a sudden layoff from her job leaves her clinging to the only thing she has left in her life: her role as a mother. two teenagers who no longer need her. In the midst of this crisis, Pilar will face a revealing generational clash when she sees in the young women of her family a mirror that awakens desires that perhaps she had never allowed herself before.

Among the cast of actors we find Eva Llorach in the role of Pilar, along with Mia Sala-Patau, Aina Clotet, Félix Pons, Teo Soler, Fabio Ferrante, Marta Aguilar and Jordina Sala. The script is the work of the director herself, known for the television series 'This is not Sweden' distributed by RTVE, in collaboration with Bianca Francezca Omonte.

This production by Escac Studio, Escándalo Films and Materia Cinema has the support of TV3, for which Giraldo has already worked before. In addition, José Cachón, known for 'Somebody's Daughter' acts as director of photography.
