Winter on Fire

The documentary tells the ukrainian revolution that lasted 93 days between 2013 and 2014. The events began with a peaceful demonstration of students expressing their support for the integration of Ukraine into the European Union. However, what started as something residual e initially harmless ended up generating a violent episode that cries the resignation of President Viktor. F. Yanukovich. This documentary work, directed by Evgeny Afineevsky, reflects perfectly the desperation of the ukrainian citizenship, the enormous mobilization of an entire society that didn't feel identified and represented by their responsible politicians. A voice sought to silence through the force more crude and cruel.
