Plot
'Christiane F.' is a film based on a book published in 1978, written by Kai Hermann and Horst Hieck for the magazine 'Stern', which documents the dramatic relationship of children with drugs in West Germany. The story is inspired by real events and tells how a 12-year-old girl, named Christiane Felscherinow, lives with her mother and a little sister in a small apartment in a boring neighborhood on the outskirts of West Berlin. Eager to experience greater emotions, Christiane, a passionate David Bowie, dresses and makes up to look older than she has and comes accompanied by a friend to a modern nightclub in the city. There he meets Detlef, a boy somewhat older than she who introduces her into the world of drugs.
