'Zoom' follows the life of Emma (Alison Pill), a young ambitious but self-conscious illustrator who works in a sex doll factory, overturning all her insecurities in their and what she would like to look like. Her problems and frustrations make Emma begin to draw a comic that represents the ideal man for her, a boy named Edward (Gael García Bernal) who is dedicated to the film's world and who is determined to make a picture based on an attractive novelist, Michelle (Mariana Ximenes), who in turn is writing a work in a emotional story of an illustrator named Emma. Thus, we introduce ourselves in a story that transcends the boundaries between reality and fiction, where three stories are intertwined in a loop: on the one hand, we have the story of the fragile Emma; on the other hand, we have Edward's life as a cartoon, a fully dedicated filmmaker; and, thirdly, we find the story of Michelle, who devotes her life to writing about Emma. The Brazilian director Pedro Morelli ('Entre Nós') lead this film in which reality is mixed with animation starring Alison Pill ('Miss Sloane'), Gael Garcia Bernal ('Mozart in the Jungle'), And Mariana Ximenes ('A Favorita').
