Britt-Marie, 63 years old, has just divorced her husband after 40 long years of marriage where she has only been able to devote herself to being a housewife. With his passive-aggressive and somewhat annoying character, he will embark on a real challenge when looking for work in his town.In the town of Borg there is nothing to be proud of except for the youth soccer team. Britt-Marie will become the new coach of the team to earn a living. A very complicated task due to the amount of things that must be managed in a team and that will fill the film with challenges and struggles in which you will have to demonstrate that you are able to combine the warmth and closeness with your players with the demand of the sport. She will have to search with intelligence and based on making concrete decisions how to get the best out of the boys to be able to form a completely cohesive team and be able to continue triumphing as before. Not without problems, and bypassing the numerous criticisms and conflicting looks of many local residents, the team will gradually start working and show that both Britt-Marie and the boys are able to work together in order to success despite some differences that in the first moments seemed absolutely insurmountable.
