After being fired from the Anti-Villain League for failing to catch the evil that threatens humanity, Gru suffers a major identity crisis. But it will suffice for a mysterious stranger to appear and announce that he has a twin brother, the one who desires above all follows the despicable steps of his twin (Gru), so that the old villain rediscovers how well he feels to do evil. Steve Carell not only lends his voice to Gru for the third time, he also doubles Dru, Gru's lost twin brother. Kristen Wiig returns in the role of super-spy Lucy, and Trey Parker plays the wicked Balthazar Bratt, a former star child obsessed with the television character he played in the 1980s. Bratt, the greatest enemy he has to face Gru, is determined to take Hollywood and a celebration ahead of anyone who gets in his way. Trivia Despicable Me 3

It was rumored in Universal Studios that the film would show Margo, Edith and Agnes' real mom, but it didn't happen. Steve Carell said that 'Despicable Me 3' may be his last film as the voice of Gru. However, Carell stated that if he was asked to do a cameo in any future Minion sequels, he happily would. Trey Parker, the creator of the show 'South Park', is the main villain.
