Plot
During the Indo-Pakistani war of 1971, Tara Singh's trail is lost on the border with Pakistan. His son goes to the border country in search of his father, but ends up a prisoner of Pakistani troops, led by Hamid Iqbal, who wants revenge on Tara Singh for events 17 years ago.
'Gadar 2' is the sequel to the 2001 Indian film, also directed by Anil Sharma. The main actors of the original film (Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma) also reprise their roles.
