This road trip comedy tells the story of four longlife friends who have spent a long time no talk. Each one of them has taken a different path, but they will meet again in a hard moment of their lives. None is going through a good time so, in order to break with business as usual, they will sail on a trip to New Orleand to attend the Essence Music Festival. In this trip, they will discover themselves again and release their wildest side. Dancing, drinking and an abundance of partying is the main topic of this girl trip to which no one else is invited. The film is helmed by Malcolm D. Lee, director of 'Undercover Brother' and 'Best Man Holiday', and the four main characters are Regina Hall, Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett Smith and Tiffany Haddish.

Trivia Girls Trip

First film produced, written, directed by and starring African-Americans to cross the $100-million mark. Tiffany Haddish is 9-10 years younger than each of her co-stars, despite their characters being the same age. Fittingly, her character acts the youngest of the leads. Features what is arguably the first demonstration in a feature film of "grapefruiting" as an oral sexual act.
