Luigi Patrovita or the "Don" as he is known in the Chicago mafia, is the biggest bonnet in the city. Two FBI agents protect a confidant who has insider information about the mafioso, but are ambushed and killed by the Patrovita mafia group. What the mob did not tell you is that one of the agents was Blair Shannon, the son of FBI chief Harry Shannon, who seeks revenge.

For this, Shannon offers to Mark Kaminsky, an agent accused of kidnapping, rape and murder, to do a job to be redeemed: to infiltrate in the Mafia of Patrovita and to finish it from within.

Kaminsky manages to infiltrate the band and will gradually end corruption, both within the FBI and the Mafia itself.
