Plot
Sam has been a rodeo champion all his life, but now lives in an isolated town in Alaska, where he manages a motel. Unwillingly, he initiates a relationship with a man responsible of a robbery ended up in a homicide. Little by little, Sam will get into a whirl of violencia from which it will be almost imposible to scape. All his loved ones are involved in this mistery and Sam will have to face the ghosts of his past in order to defeat this strange predator. The film is directed by Jamie M. Dagg, who has directed the short films 'Waiting' and 'Sunday', and debuted in the full lenght in 2015 with 'River'. 'Sweet Virginia' casts Jon Bernthal, Imogen Poots and Christopher Abbot as its main characters. It is part of the Sitges Film Festival 2017.
