The Final Girls

'The Final Girls' is a horror comedy directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson and starring Max, played by Taissa Farmiga and Amanda, played by Malin Akerman. The film tells the story of a group of high school students who, after being invited to the screening of the film Camp Bloodbath a horror film of the 80s where Max's mother, Amanda, was one of the protagonists, are strangely absorbed into the film itself. Max will face a series of obstacles to get to save his mother, who returns to see after his death, the psychopath stalking, Billy Murphy. The film also features performances of Alia Shawkat, Adam Devine, Thomas Middleditch, Angela Trimbur, Cory Hart and Chloe Bridges. The film was released October 9, 2015 (US).
