Asger Holm works as an operator in the emergency service in Copenhagen. Before working as an operator, he was a police officer, but was relegated and suspended from his duties. In a day of his night shift, Asger receives a strange call, it is a woman with a terrified voice asking for help. Asger will discover, by phone, that the woman is kidnapped and that he will have to find the location of the call and thus start the search for the hostage's whereabouts. However, Asger can not investigate outside of his job, which will reduce his search at the table of the emergency switchboard. Asger will have to locate and help the kidnapped woman, for this he will have the help of all his colleagues, both from the central office of the capital and from the rest of the country. The director, producer, cinematographer and the editor all knew each other and graduated from the National Film School of Denmark. Denmark's submission to the Foreign Language Film Award of the 91st Oscars. Swedish actor Jakob Cedegreen, protagonist of 'The Guilty', returns to participate in a Danish production. It is not the first time, the most important role of his career was in 'Submarino', by Thomas Vinterbeg.
