Synopsis

In the action drama 'Uzumasa Limelight', Seizô Fukumoto plays a specialist who after years playing samurais in the screen decides to retire to make way for the new generation. Hundreds of films have been lucky to have the master Seiichi, a real talent of dying in art cinema whose career is about to come to an end after 50,000 jobs on the big screen. It is at that moment when he meets Satsuki iga (Chihiro Yamamoto) a willing young girl that wants to learn the ancient art of sword in a world that has moved beyond the traditional customs to embrace computer design in almost anything. One of the wearier and wiser extras of such films combines his knowledge with the infinite energy of his apprentice in this film directed by Ken Ochiai.
