Plot
Biopic about Dick Cheney, Vice-President of the United States during the George W. Bush's presidential term. The film explores how Dick Cheney, a bureaucratic Washington became the most powerful vice president in the history of the United States, having a major influence on George Bush's decisions. In fact, Cheney was one of the greatest promoters of the Iraq War.
Directed by Adam McKay, Academy Award Winner for Best Writing, Adapted Screenplay for 'The Big Short' in 2016, and with the multifaceted Christian Bale in the shoes of Dick Cheney and Sam Rockwell as George W. Bush. It also has in its cast Steve Carrell, who plays Donald Rumsfeld and Amy Adams playing Dick Cheney' s wife, Lynne Cheney.
