Synopsis

Anna is a young misunderstood girl, she has no friends and she has a very delicate health. Her adoptive family tries to cheer a bit offering a trip to Hokkaido, where her uncles live. The weather in the area is more peaceful and better for the fragile health of the little girl. Discouraged, she arrives on the island with the intention of shutting out the world. However, soon see the dunes near the sea a mysterious mansion, this is the House of the Marsh, which is familiar to Anna. In that place within an enigmatic little girl named Marnie, who becomes the first friend Anna has it. Marnie is a cheerful girl who will see Anna the good life. However, a day Marnie vanishes without a trace. Soon Sayaka's family is installed in the town, Sayaka is a vivacious girl who also seek the mystery of Marnie. Thanks to Sayaka's family, Anna becomes more sociable and soon se becomes friends with the new neighbor. It is at that moment that Anna begins to discover things about Marnie, she was not what she appeared to be.
