Plot

Three years has passed since his last movie, 'Bridge of Spies' is the newest movie directed by Steven Spielberg. 'Bridge of Spies' is an american historical thriller with a script written by Matt Charman and Ethan Coen and Joel Coen. This dramatical thriller is based in the year 1960 during the Cold War between United States and the Soviet Union. Thomas Newman is in charge of the original score. The plot of the movie is set on James Donovan's history, played by Tom Hanks, a northamerican lawyer who has to defend Rudolph Abel, a KGB spy agent, in court. Meanwhile, Francis Gary Powell a U-2 pilot is being shot-down and captured while he was going on a sortie over the Soviet Union and Frederic Pryor, an american economics student, is captured as a spy by the Stasi in Berlin. Donovan receives an alleged letter for Abel from his family but it's from the KGB proposing a prisoner exchange. Donovan, beware of Pryor's capture, will work alongside the CIA to rescue their missing fellow citizens but it will provoke new problems between the three nations
