El silencio de Augusto

'El silencio de Augusto' is the Mexican director Adrian Contraras directorial debut. Starring Eduardo Azuri, Regina Orozco, Diana Lein, Barbara Torres and Luisa Aguilar, it is based on a true story. Augusto Torres is a college teacher married with woman who was a normal life. However, one day everything changes when he returns home and discover his wife in bed with another man. Not knowing how to react and being blinded by anger and betrayal, takes a gun and shoots himself in front of the astonished couple, but far from dead, remains in a state of quadriplegia without the ability of speech, as suffers brain damage called TBI. When he leaves the hospital, his wife should take care of him, but desperate decides to leave him away from the city. So he will start a trip which consists in finding a reason to live.
