In Tehran, the capital of Iran, drug addiction and corruption are the order of the day. One of its perpetrators, drug dealer Nasser Khazad, is found and pursued by detective Samad and the police. When he finds himself on the ropes, Khakzad will try everything in his power to escape the death penalty and save his family. The hunt for the criminal will then take an unexpected turn.

'The Law of Tehran' is directed and written by Saeed Roustaee, with original music by Peyman Yazdanian. The cast consists of actors Navid Mohammadzadeh, Peyman Moaadi, Parinaz Izadyar, Farhad Aslani, Houman Kiai, Maziar Seyedi, Ali Bagheri, Marjan Ghamari, Yusef Khosravi

On the other hand, the film was produced by Boshra Films and HA International and distributed by La Aventura in Spain. Its original language is Persian.

The film has been screened at several festivals, winning Best Director and Best Actor at the Tokyo International Film Festival and Best International Film at the Zurich Film Festival. It has also received nominations at the Chicago International Film Festival, the Fajr International Film Festival, the Stockholm Film Festival, the Sao Paulo International Film Festival and the Venice Film Festival, among others.

The film was shot in the city of Tehran.
