Kentucky Roses

There are traditions that survive almost anything: wars, economic crises, several generations of viewers. The blanket of roses presented to the winner of the Kentucky Derby every first Saturday of May at Churchill Downs is one of them. And around that blanket, 'Kentucky Roses' builds a love story that spans nearly a century. In the present, Sadie Moore works at the Churchill Downs greenhouse, the same one her family has been running for generations, and carries a dream that is almost an inheritance: to be the one to design the iconic blanket of roses that will crown the Derby champion, just as her great-grandmother Gloria did almost a hundred years earlier.

The problem is that this tradition is in danger. And to save it, Sadie will have to join forces with the son of the racetrack's CEO, an unlikely pairing that begins reluctantly and that, while trying to protect the Derby's floral legacy, ends up uncovering a forgotten love story that dates back to 1932, when the modern blanket of roses was born. Two timelines, two couples, one shared tradition that connects them across time.
