Pillion

''Pillion'' is a film by director Harry Lighton.

An intimate and provocative drama that explores the limits of desire, power, and the need to belong. 

The story follows Colin (Harry Melling), a shy and lonely young man leading a routine and emotionally empty life until he meets Ray (Alexander Skarsgård), a charismatic and enigmatic biker who leads a group within the leather scene.

Fascinated by his confidence and his seemingly rule-free world, Colin is drawn into a relationship where he soon discovers that affection, control, and identity are deeply intertwined.

As he delves into this dynamic of domination and submission, Colin accepts a role that redefines his way of relating to the body, desire, and emotional dependence. 

However, what initially seems like an escape route and a path to connection becomes a complex experience, marked by the ambiguity between voluntary surrender and loss of autonomy. The relationship with Ray, intense and consuming, forces him to question to what extent he is choosing his own destiny or simply trying to fill an emotional void.

In that process, Colin begins to discover that the real conflict does not reside solely in the rules of the bond, but in his own need to be seen and loved.
