Plot
Eduardo Deacon (Antonio Banderas), a father and ex-veteran of the special services, is desperately looking for a job and gets the position of security guard in a shopping mall. In his first night at work he finds a scared girl who begs for help, because she is being chased for being the witness of a trial. Eduardo protects the girl inside the shopping mall, and that night 'Eddie', as Eduardo is called, and his companions will have to survive the attack of the kidnappers who had captured the girl. Lead by Charlie (Ben Kingsley), the group will not stop before anything on their pursue to eliminate the girl. Even if it means they have to kill off anyone they find in their path.

The U.S.? Well...
When the protagonist calls his wife the dial tone heard on the phone is clearly not the dial tone that would be heard in the United States. It is a European dial tone indicating that the film was set, but not made, in the United States. Also, it's clear from the furnishings, the mall's setup and the and the presence of numerous staircases instead of escalators, that the film was made in Europe and not the United States.
Marshal, not Marshals
The writing on the marshal's badges and uniforms read "U.S.A. Marshals". In actuality, it should read "U.S. Marshal".
