The Bad Guys

Mr. Wolf, Mr. Snake, Mr. Piranha, Mr. Shark and Mrs. Tarantula are five "bad guys" who have dedicated their whole lives to hold-ups. Now they organize a plot to pull off what will be their most difficult job yet.

'The Bad Guys' is an animated feature based on Aaron Blabey's hit book series 'Scholastic Blockbuster', which has over 8.2 million prints worldwide. The film is directed by Pierre Perifel, who has worked in the animation department for films such as 'Kung Fu Panda', 'Monsters vs. Aliens', 'Shrek Forever After' or 'Rise of the Guardians'. 'The Bad Guys' will be his debut as a feature director with support from Etan Cohen ('Men in Black 3', 'Madagascar 2') and Hilary Winston ('My name is Earl', 'Community') who will write the screenplay.

The film will be produced by Damon Ross, co-producer of 'Nacho libre', and part of the crew of 'The Spiderwick Chronicles' or 'The Croods' and Rebecca Huntley, who produced 'The Boss Baby', 'Mulan', 'How to Train Your Dragon 2' or 'Hercules'. Executive producers are Blabey (the book writer himself), Cohen, Patrick Hughes ('Picture this', 'Let There Be Light') and Jeff Berg. With the voices of Sam Rockwell, Awkwafina, Anthony Ramos, Marc Maron, Craig Robinson, Zazie Beetz, Alex Borstein and Richard Ayoade.
