The film adaptation of the novel by British author, Agatha Christie, that focuses on the Belgian detective Hercule Poirot. The plot begins in Istanbul at Hotel Tokatlian where Poirot receives an urgent telegram asking him to return to England. Poirot takes the Orient Express train the very same evening. On the famous train, he meets an American named Ratchett. The American man asks the detective to help save his life, but Poirot refuses. Ratchett ends up being murdered that night, leaving Poirot to investigate the case. As the detective begins delving into the details of the case, he discovers that the train is full of suspects, and each with their own secrets. Can he trust anyone on board the Orient Express?
