Noah's Ark

'Noah's Ark' is a fun and original version of one of the most iconic and well-known stories of all time, with a combination of humor, charm and lovable characters. The film follows two mice: Vini, a charismatic poet with terrible stage fright, and Tito, a talented and charming guitarist. When the flood comes, only one male and one female of each species are allowed to board Noah's Ark. With the help of an ingenious cockroach and good luck, Vini and Tito sneak into the Ark and together they will try to avoid the confrontation between carnivores and herbivores. Can these talented stowaways use music to break the tension and help all species coexist without eating each other for 40 days and 40 nights aboard the most famous ship in history?

Edward Noeltner's Cinema Management Group (CMG), riding high on an Oscar nomination for his animated film 'Loving Vincent', is globally distributing this Brazilian project with Walter Salles on board as producer. Sergio Machado, who started as an assistant director at the Salles Central Station, directs the film for Gullane Entretenimento, which he produces with Salles' Video Filmes, by the brothers Caio Gullane and Fabiano Gullane. The brothers produce the musical adventure with Salles and will also be in Berlin to present the documentary 'Panorama' by Luiz Bolognesi.

It is based on the songs and lyrics of the famous Brazilian singer and composer Vinicius de Moraes and will be available in Portuguese and English versions. The story follows the exploits of two male minstrel mice who board the biblical ship. Aware of the ark's rules that each species must include one of each gender, one of the mice dresses as a woman but Noah kicks him out.
