Spinning Gold

This American film tells the story of Neil Bogart, a lowerclass Jew who became a millionaire in 1974 by founding Casablanca Records. This music producer is credited with discovering big stars and bands such as KISS, Gladys Knight, Donna Summer, The Village People, Bill Withers, The Isley Brothers and Parliament. Casablanca Records was considered the epicenter of pop culture music labels in the United States during the 70s. These young talents under the supervision of Neil and Casablanca rewrote the history of music and changed the music industry.

Bogart defined an entire generation through his blend of creative madness and the trust placed in his artists and the music they were creating, which led to them all together shaping our culture.

The film is directed and scripted by Timothy Scott Bogart, the son of Neil Bogart himself and its cast includes Jeremy Jordan ('The Flash'), Michelle Monaghan ('Kiss Kiss Bang Bang') , Jay Pharoah ('White Famus'), Lyndsy Fonseca ('The Ward'), Dan Fogler ('Balls of Fury'), Peyton List ('27 Dresses'), James Wolk or Jason Derulo among others.The film is produced by Hero Entertainment Group, The Boardwalk Entertainment Group, Blue Rider Pictures, Atlantic Films, Bay Point Media and Capstone Studios.
