Plot
A 2014 American comedy-drama film directed by Thomas McCarthy and co-written with Paul Sado. The film stars Adam Sandler, Dan Stevens, Dustin Hoffman and Steve Buscemi. It has been selected to be screened in the Special Presentations section at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival. 'The Cobler' is about Max Simkin, a man who repairs shoes in a shop in New York. Disenchanted with his daily life, one day he stumbles upon a magical heirloom that allows him to step into the lives of his costumes, and that will change his life.
