The Jungle Book

The film directed by Jon Favreau ('Cowboys & Aliens', 'Chef') adapts again the classic tale of Rudyard Kipling that was transformed into a successful animated film in 1967 thanks to Disney. This time actors like Lupita Nyong'o, Christopher Walken or Scarlett Johansson give life to this mythical characters born from the pen of Kipling in 1894.

The story follows the adventures of Mowgli (Neel Seth), a child who is raised in the jungle by a pack of wolves in front of which we find her adoptive mother, the wolf Raksha, which Nyong'o voice. Idris Elba is behind the voice of the feared Shere Khan, an evil tiger who plans to kill Mowgli because of the threat that he inspires him. Luckily for the child the panther Bagheera (Ben Kingsley) and the bear Baloo (Bill Murray) will accompany him on this journey of survival and self-discovery in the jungle, where he meets characters like Kaa (Scarlett Johansson), a python that will try to hypnotize him in order to eat it, and King Louie (Christopher Walken), an orangutan who wants the child to teach him the secret of making fire.
