One of China's most important annual cultural festivals, Chinese New Year, has returned and 2019 brings the lucky Year of the Pig. Disney has decided to join in the festivities and, given their lucky (and lucrative) year in 2018 and their countless upcoming releases in the coming year, they have many reason to celebrate.
In 2018 Disney made over $7 billion dollars due to blockbusters like 'Black Panther' and 'Infinity War' and, who knows, with the excitement building for upcoming releases such as 'Avengers: Endgame', 'Captain Marvel' and 'Aladdin', Disney may well blow that figure out the window. To add to this hype even more, after the release of the many trailers at the Super Bowl game, they have now released several stunning posters in a Chinese New Year-themed aesthetic.
