Directed by Fernando Trueba, it's the sequel of 'The Girl of your Dreams', produced in 1998. It's in set in 50s, Macarena Granada has become a big star in Hollywood, her Mediterranean beauty has won the hearts of the American public. After many years of absence, she returned to that dear Spain that she had to leave 18 years ago, her return is to shoot a film in which she will play Isabella I of Castile, better known as 'The Catholic', the first Queen of Spain. Knowing Macarena's return, Blas Fontiveros, who had not returned to Spain after trying to direct 'The Girl of Your Dreams' in Nazi Germany, also he decides to return to his country and reconnect with the beautiful Macarena and his former colleagues job. The arrival of Blas cause a series of events that will jeopardize the big blockbuster.
