Who took home those coveted prizes?

The 2019 Emmy Awards were the last for 'Game of Thrones', which many considered the last pre-streaming television phenomenon. The 71st edition of these awards granted by the Television Academy is particularly special for everyone who has experienced in full the story of the Starks, the Targaryens, the Lannisters and the other all the other families of Westeros. The HBO series wanted to turn this last opportunity into it's own 'Return of the King' Oscars moment.

It's the most-nominated series, and had already brought home several creative awards before stepping up to the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles on Saturday 22nd September.

The most critically-acclaimed series and films competed for this much-coveted award at the 2019 Emmys
